At the Academy of Hair Design, we do not only help you prepare for a successful career in the beauty industry, but we also have programs that encourage you to lend your time and talent to help the less fortunate. This way, you will be exposed to the actual beauty needs of different people and develop positive relations with them. This community involvement is what sets us apart from other cosmetology schools in Springfield, MO. As part of our community care initiative, we recently embarked on a 9-day mission trip to Rwanda, Africa. We help launched our sister school in the country, “Dream Beauty Africa”. We also had a wonderful time meeting the locals and visiting their homes, as well as teaching and training the students at our sister school on the importance of safety and sanitation. As a bonus, we joined an African Safari where our students and staff had the adventure of a lifetime.
